Pero Aračić is a Full Professor at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Đakovo, part of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. He has held significant leadership roles including Dean of the Faculty since 2008, Acting Dean (2007-2008), and Vice Dean for Science (2005-2007). His academic career spans decades, with a focus on pastoral theology and liturgical studies.
His educational journey began in Grk and Slavonski Brod, followed by grammar school in Zagreb and Đakovo (graduated 1963). He pursued philosophical and theological studies at the Higher Theological School in Đakovo and earned his doctorate in pastoral theology from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome in 1979.
