Per Carlbring

Per Carlbring is a Professor of Psychology at Stockholm University, specializing in clinical psychology. He is a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist, and specialist in clinical psychology. His research focuses on interventions for mental health in people with and without neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD, as well as mechanisms and neural correlates in the brain. He leads the Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience and Health research group at the Department of Psychology.

Professor Carlbring has published over 350 scientific articles, with a strong emphasis on internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy, digital mental health interventions, and the application of new technologies like AI and virtual reality in psychological treatment.
