Peng Liu

Peng Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration, Foundations & Psychology at the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba. He joined the faculty in January 2018.

• Education: PhD in Educational Leadership (OISE/University of Toronto, 2013), EMPA (Catholic University of Leuven, 2003)

His research focuses on Indigenous leadership, effective leadership, cross-cultural leadership, and educational change. He investigates turnaround school improvement strategies, teacher and principal professional development, and large-scale education reforms through international and comparative perspectives. His work appears in journals like Education Management, Administration, and Leadership and School Effectiveness and School Improvement.

Peng Liu serves as associate editor for Frontier in Psychology and International Journal of Comparative Education and Development. His specialization areas include educational policy and leadership development frameworks.
