Dr. Pedram Rashidi is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Futures within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at The University of Queensland. He is associated with the QUBIC ARC Centre of Excellence and focuses on responsible innovation frameworks for quantum biotechnology.
His expertise spans science and technology policy, global environmental governance, and Indigenous knowledge systems. He has co-authored influential reports on First Nations participation in environmental governance and STEM education, and his work has been published in journals like The Review of International Studies and Globalization.
Recent research outputs include analyses of UNESCO/IPCC boundary work, climate justice in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, and work-integrated learning pedagogies. He teaches politics of environmental change to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
