Assoc. Prof. Pavel Pavlovitch, PhD, is a permanent Associate Professor at the Department of Arabic Studies and Semitology within the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He holds a PhD in History (awarded in 1998) and an academic title of Associate Professor (2005), specializing in medieval Islamic history and pre-Islamic Arabian culture.
