Paula Smith

Dr. Paula Smith is an Associate Professor at the School of Criminal Justice, University of Cincinnati. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John in 2006.

• Research focuses on offender classification, correctional rehabilitation, and meta-analysis
• Co-author of 'Corrections in the Community' with over 30 journal articles and book chapters
• Directed numerous federal/state-funded projects across the U.S. (prisons, juvenile drug courts, mental health services)
• Evaluated 280+ correctional programs, with frontline experience in juvenile offenders and domestic violence
• Active in training criminal justice agencies in the U.S. and Canada
