Paula McElearney is an Associate Lecturer and PhD researcher in critical pedagogy at the University of Worcester. With 20+ years in education, she has served as a primary school headteacher, FE college programme coordinator for special educational needs, and Head Teacher at a residential special school.
Her teaching spans BA SENDi, BA Education Studies, MA Education, and Foundation Degree in Learning Support. Research focuses on Rudolf Steiner-inspired pedagogy, lifelong learning inclusion, and transformative education for marginalized learners.
Qualifications include a BSc in Psychology (University of Leicester), Diploma in Education Marketing, Certificate in Education (QTLS), and MSc in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (Distinction, UWE). Her PhD examines critical pedagogy in lifelong learning.
