Paul Williams

Paul Williams is Associate Professor of Twentieth-Century Literature and Culture at University of Exeter. His research examines comics, graphic novels, and popular culture through interdisciplinary lenses including cultural studies and psychoanalysis. He has published books on Paul Gilroy's cultural theory and special education policy.

Professional activities include co-curating the exhibition 'The Great British Graphic Novel' at London's Cartoon Museum. He teaches courses on critical theory, North American culture, and comics studies.
