Paul R. Gugliuzza

Paul R. Gugliuzza is a Professor of Law at Temple University's Beasley School of Law, specializing in civil procedure, federal courts, and intellectual property law, with a focus on patent litigation. He previously held the same rank at Boston University School of Law, where he received the Dean’s Award for teaching excellence. Gugliuzza earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Tulane University School of Law and clerked for Judge Ronald M. Gould on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

His research examines judicial behavior in patent cases, including judge shopping, gender/racial disparities in appeals, and federal court dynamics.
