Paul Myburgh is a Visiting Professor at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). He previously served as Deputy Director of the Centre for Maritime Law (CML) and Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from May 2015 onward. His teaching and research focus on Admiralty Law & Practice, Maritime Conflict of Laws, and Trade Finance Law. He has held visiting positions at the TC Beirne School of Law (University of Queensland), Nordisk Institutt for Sjoerett (University of Oslo), and the Hong Kong Centre for Maritime and Transport Law (City University of Hong Kong as KH Koo Foundation Visiting Research Fellow).
