Paul Cavert Stumb IV

Dr. Paul Cavert Stumb, IV is the University President and Professor of Business at Cumberland University, where he has served since 2003. Initially joining as an Adjunct Professor, he later became Professor and Dean of The Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business for nearly a decade. His academic credentials include degrees in Industrial Engineering (B.I.E.), Engineering (M.S., Ph.D.), and Education (M.A.E.), reflecting his interdisciplinary expertise.

He is a graduate of the Navy War College Strategy and Policy Program and retired from the US Navy Reserves with the rank of Commander. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, he remains deeply involved in civic and professional activities across Middle Tennessee.
