Patxi Zabalo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he has taught International Economics and Development Studies since 1983. He has been affiliated with the Hegoa Institute since its creation, contributing to research on Human Security, Local Human Development, and International Cooperation.
