Carlos Puig is a Researcher at the Instituto de Estudios sobre Desarrollo y Cooperación Internacional (Hegoa) at the University of the Basque Country. His work focuses on development cooperation, project management, and sustainable local development. With a background in Business Administration (Licenciado, 1983) and postgraduate studies in development (UPV/EHU, 1992-94), he has extensive field experience in Central America (1987-1990), working with refugee communities during wartime.
