Dr. Patrick Lin is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the Singapore campus of James Cook University. He holds a PhD (2015) and Master of Social Sciences (2007) from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a B.A. (Specialized Honours in Psychology) from York University, Toronto (2004). His research focuses on interpersonal attraction, effects of priming, and Hikikomori (social withdrawal), particularly exploring links between childhood adversity and adult social withdrawal in Asian populations.
