Patrick Feuerstein is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB), leading global research initiatives on working conditions in digital labor platforms. He coordinates the dissemination of the Fairwork Pledge, a key stakeholder engagement tool. Previously, he held roles as lecturer, research associate, and acting professor of sociology at Georg-August-University Göttingen, focusing on digitalization in work and organizational sociology. He is affiliated with the Sociological Research Institute (SOFI) at Göttingen.
His research explores IT offshoring impacts on software developers, collaborative innovation in tech industries, and global production networks in automotive and chocolate sectors.
