Patrick Cohendet is a Full Professor at HEC Montréal's Department of International Affairs. He holds a DES and State Doctorate in Economic Sciences from the University of Paris and Louis-Pasteur University (Strasbourg). His research focuses on knowledge economies, innovation management, organizational theory, and technology transfer. He has authored/co-authored influential works such as Communities of Innovation (2021) and contributes to journals like Industry and Innovation and ZFW – Advances in Economic Geography. Recent work explores innovation ecosystems in aerospace, AI, and video game industries, emphasizing collaborative spaces and open innovation frameworks.
