Patrick Casey

Patrick Casey is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Central Arkansas, affiliated with the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology. His research explores intersections of racial, religious, and political identities, focusing on their convergence and contradictions.

Educational Background:

• PhD in Sociology from University of South Florida
• Masters in Sociology from University of Houston
• Bachelors in Sociology from Oklahoma State University

Currently, Dr. Casey investigates how AI tools can mitigate political polarization by enabling low-stakes discussions on contentious topics. His teaching includes courses on Racial and Ethnic Relations, Religion, and Principles of Sociology.
