Patrick Carter is a Part-Time Lecturer at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, teaching drawing and painting courses to BA and BS students on the Medford Campus. He holds an MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University ('87) and a BA from Fairmount State College ('71).
His artistic practice focuses on Drawing, Painting, and Contemporary Portraits, with recent solo exhibitions including Changing Views: Portraits Past and Present and Hopper Revisited. He has received multiple awards for his work, including first prizes at prominent galleries and a third prize in regional exhibitions.
