Patrick Burke

Patrick Burke is Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Westminster, holding a doctorate from the same institution (2005) with prior education at Bristol and London universities. His research examines social movements in post-WWII Europe and the British Left during the Cold War.

He teaches comparative politics modules including:

• The Politics of Migration (module leader)
• The Politics of Protest (module leader)
• Power and the State
• Political Ideas in Action

He also supervises undergraduate dissertations.

Current research involves analyzing E.P. Thompson's writings on nuclear arms races and Cold War dynamics.
