Patrick Bayer is a Professor of Political Economy and Research Director in the Division of Political and International Studies at the University of Glasgow's School of Social and Political Sciences. His work focuses on the political economy of environmental regulation, climate policy, and international cooperation. He is affiliated with Glasgow's Advanced Research Centre (ARC) and the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN). Bayer serves as Associate Deputy Editor of Climatic Change and organized the 2023 Environmental Politics and Governance (EPG) conference.
