Patrícia R. Costa is an Assistant Professor at the School of Arts, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), and a Researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR). She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and specializes in Biochemical Engineering. Her research focuses on biotechnology and nanotechnology applications in cultural heritage conservation, particularly addressing biodeterioration, sustainability, and green conservation strategies.
