Patrícia R. Costa

Patrícia R. Costa is an Assistant Professor at the School of Arts, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), and a Researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR). She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and specializes in Biochemical Engineering. Her research focuses on biotechnology and nanotechnology applications in cultural heritage conservation, particularly addressing biodeterioration, sustainability, and green conservation strategies.

Her work contributes to UN SDGs related to sustainable cities, responsible consumption, and climate action through projects like HAC4CG, which integrates heritage conservation with climate change education.
