Dr. Pat Naldi is a Lecturer in MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a practice spanning site-specific art, moving image, performance, and interdisciplinary research. She holds a PhD from Central Saint Martins, an MA from Northumbria University, and a BA from Maidstone College of Art.
Her research examines geopolitical, environmental, and socio-spatial constructions of landscapes through power dynamics. Current projects include Arctic expeditions studying glacial retreat and socio-political interpretations of urban/rural spaces. Naldi collaborates with geographers, architects, and communities to explore how views shape public interactions.
Awards and residencies include:
- Helen Chadwick Senior Research Fellowship (British School at Rome/Oxford)
- Arctic Circle Art and Science Expedition Residency (2022, 2024)
- Senior Research Fellowships at Dundee and Western Sydney
- Grants from Freelands Foundation, Arts Council England, Australia/Canada Councils
She co-leads the Sensingsite Collective and LAND2 National Research Network, curating conferences at Tate Modern and Stockholm University on artist strategies in urban regeneration.
