Pamela Saylor

Pamela Saylor is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the BASW (Bachelor of Social Work) program at Purdue University Northwest's Department of Behavioral Sciences. She specializes in program development, experiential learning, and global education initiatives. She has led study abroad programs to Guatemala (2018/2019) and Peru (2024), integrating service-learning into social work education. Her awards include the NASW Region 1 Social Worker of the Year (2021) and PNW’s Outstanding Faculty Engagement Award. She serves on university committees such as Faculty Senate and Experiential Learning Committee. Her teaching spans introductory social work courses to senior practicum supervision. She holds degrees from Indiana University Northwest (M.S.W.), Valparaiso University (B.S.W.), and San Francisco State University (B.S. in Marketing).
