Dr. Pablo Palomino is an Associate Professor of Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Emory University and a former Mellon Faculty Fellow (2017–2020). His research bridges cultural history, musicology, and transnational studies, focusing on Latin America’s cultural formation and its global intersections. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley (2014) and a BA from the University of Buenos Aires (2005), with postdoctoral experience at the University of Chicago. Key projects include The Invention of Latin American Music (Oxford 2020) and studies on meat’s global history.
