Pablo Garcia-Fernandez

Pablo Garcia-Fernandez is a Professor and researcher at the University of Cantabria (Spain). He is actively involved in both teaching and research, with a focus on theoretical and computational physics. His current research emphasizes the development of second-principles Density Functional Theory (SPDFT) methods for simulating large systems with tens of thousands of atoms, particularly exploring phenomena like polar vortexes in PbTiO₃/SrTiO₃ superlattices and symmetry-breaking effects in materials.
