About
Ozan Kamiloglu is a Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University (LSBU), affiliated with the Law Digital x Data Research Centre. He joined LSBU's Division of Law in 2020 after holding academic positions at the University of Essex, SOAS, and Birkbeck College. He earned his PhD in Law from Birkbeck College (2014–2019). His research focuses on the digitalization of justice systems, courtroom aesthetics, and human rights discourses in the Global South.

- Effects of technology on judicial transparency and neutrality
- AV technology in courtrooms and digital justice practices
- Human rights activism and discourses in non-Western contexts
- Neoliberalism's impact on rights frameworks
- Right to the city and urban justice
He currently supervises four PhD students exploring topics such as AI and Law, courtroom digitization, and human rights in Global South contexts. Kamiloglu co-leads the Law and Justice Research Group and founded courtofimages.com, a platform examining judicial visual culture.
