Dr. Orna Tighe is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). She holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics and has held key administrative roles, including Vice Dean for Student Support and Development and Head of Academic Operations. Her research spans molecular genetics, schizophrenia pathophysiology, and medical education. She has collaborated on studies involving mutant mouse models to explore schizophrenia-related phenotypes and contributed to understanding the genetic basis of metabolic disorders.
