Prof. Dermot Cox is an Associate Professor at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), leading pharmacology efforts in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences. His career spans academic roles since 1997, including Senior Lecturer (2006-2017) and Lecturer positions across RCSI's Medical School and Pharmacy departments. He holds a BSc in Pharmacology (University College Dublin, 1983) and a PhD in Immunology (Dublin City University, 1989).
