Orgul D. Ozturk is Department Chair and Professor of Economics at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with research focusing on labor economics, health economics, and public policy analysis.
Research Interests: Applied microeconomics with specialization in welfare programs, childhood nutrition, female career development, and disability employment. Current projects investigate SNAP benefit timing and educational outcomes.
