Olfa Nasraoui is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Louisville's Speed School of Engineering. She holds the Endowed Chair of E-commerce and serves as Founding Director of the Knowledge Discovery & Web Mining Lab. Her research focuses on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science, with expertise in deep learning, web/text mining, recommender systems, and fairness/explainability in AI.
Her recent work emphasizes in-training explainability frameworks, robotic failure prediction, and multimodal crisis analysis. Publications highlight conversational AI, computational thinking in education, and interpretable clustering methods.
