Nuala Hunt

Dr. Nuala Hunt is Head of the Department of Continuing Education and Lecturer at the National College of Art and Design's School of Education. She holds a PhD, MA in Art History, MSc in Education, and PG Diploma in University Teaching.

Her research examines part-time and flexible learning models in higher education, arts education, curriculum innovation, and technology-enhanced pedagogy. She has led major institutional initiatives transitioning non-accredited programs to accredited pathways for adult learners.

Hunt collaborates nationally through HEI-FET networks and internationally via COST Actions. She serves as External Examiner for University College Cork and University of Edinburgh. Her publications analyze student experiences in flexible education, interdisciplinary art pedagogy, and citizen science learning paradigms.
