Nuala Devlin

Nuala Devlin is a Senior Lecturer (Education) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. With over 20 years of clinical experience in critical care nursing and senior management roles, her work bridges clinical practice and education. She leads initiatives such as the Advanced Nurse in Critical Care Practitioner Programme and the implementation of an Electronic Practice Assessment Document across undergraduate nursing curricula.

Her research focuses on nursing student support in clinical practice, eProfessionalism, and educational innovations. Notable achievements include Staff Excellence Awards (2021) and STAR Recognition Awards (2019-2020). She contributes to interprofessional education, simulation-based training, and serves on committees including the EDI steering group and TESS.
