Norelle Daly

Professor Norelle Daly is a Professorial Research Fellow at James Cook University with a PhD from the University of Queensland. Her doctoral work involved NMR spectroscopy analysis of LDL receptor domains, leading to pioneering research in plant-derived cyclic peptides that resulted in patents and a biotechnology startup.

Research focuses on disulfide-rich peptide drug design, venom toxin characterization, anti-inflammatory compounds, and anticancer peptides. Publications emphasize structural biology, peptide therapeutics, and natural product applications in medicine.
