Nils Gore is a Professor of Architecture at the University of Kansas and Co-Director of the Dotte Agency. He specializes in community-driven design, design/build education, and architectural ethics. His work focuses on creating socially impactful projects through collaborative processes with students and communities. He has led numerous design/build initiatives in Mississippi, Kansas, and New Orleans, earning awards from the AIA, AIAS, and ACSA.
Education: B.A. from Kansas State University and Master's from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Previously taught at the Boston Architectural College and Mississippi State University.
Research interests include participatory design methodologies, ethics in architectural practice, and the intersection of architecture with public health. His projects emphasize resilience, cultural preservation, and community empowerment.
