Nikolas Smyrlakis

Nikolas Smyrlakis is a Teaching Professor at The American College of Greece (ACG). He holds a PhD in Management from Bocconi University (Milan) and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His research focuses on organizational social networks, organizational behavior, and leadership, recognized by ASSIOA. He has presented at conferences such as the Academy of Management (AoM) and the European Group of Organizational Studies (EGOS).

As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Roots Spirits (exported to 20+ countries, winner of the Stelios HajiIoannou Awards 2016) and Nomada Honey Soda (Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award 2017). He actively mentors startups through Orange Grove and ACEin incubators and co-founded other ventures.

He combines academic expertise with industry experience, including research at the European Space Agency (Netherlands) and entrepreneurial leadership in Greece.
