Dr Nicoletta Dimitrova is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Greenwich's Faculty of Business. She joined the university in 2017 after postdoctoral positions at Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she earned her PhD. Her research investigates how individuals, teams, and organizations overcome challenges in increasingly complex environments, focusing on error handling strategies and their impacts on cognition, motivation, and performance using experimental, survey, and qualitative methods.
Research interests center on organizational resilience in uncertain contexts, examining behavioral responses to unexpected challenges across diverse populations including employees and students.
