Nicola Mathieson

Dr Nicola Mathieson serves as a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Liverpool's Department of Politics since 2023, following her role as Research Director at the Global Network on Extremism and Technology (GNET) within King's College London's International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR).

Recent work increasingly integrates decolonial perspectives, culminating in her 2025 anticolonial education reform proposal for the University of Liverpool.
