Nico Bos

Prof. Nico Bos is a Professor of Internationalization of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Groningen. He coordinates the International Bachelor Medicine program and serves as Semester Coordinator for G2020. His roles include overseeing the Research Masters program and Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Additionally, he chairs the Stuurgroep Invoering Digitale Toetsen and is part of the International Classroom expert group.

His research spans B cell immunology, autoimmune diseases, and mucosal immunology, collaborating with networks like TRIGR. He also focuses on medical education innovations, particularly international learning environments and student social dynamics. Prof. Bos has published over 120 articles, with recent works exploring immune regulatory molecules in autoimmune diseases and social network impacts in medical education.

He serves on the editorial board of Frontiers in Immunology since 2010 and holds roles in professional organizations like Pro Histo and Vereniging voor Dorpsbelangen Woltersum. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and good health.
