Nick Wilson

Nick Wilson is a Professor of Culture & Creativity at King's College London, part of the Department of Culture, Media & Creative Industries (CMCI) within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. He previously served as Head of Department (2020-2023) and held roles at Kingston University. His research focuses on cultural policy, creativity, critical realism, and 'cultures of care,' with notable contributions including The Space That Separates: A Realist Theory of Art (2020). Wilson's work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing art-based learning and ethical frameworks for cultural development. He leads the 'Cultures of Care' research project and contributes to EU-funded initiatives like DISCE.
