Nick Bridge

Nick Bridge serves as a Visiting Professor in Practice at the Grantham Research Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He provides strategic counsel on the political economy and systemic drivers of global climate and environmental crises. Concurrently, he holds an Associate Fellowship at Chatham House and chairs the UK Parliamentary Knowledge Scheme’s Climate, Energy & Environment programme, bridging academic research with policy implementation.

Research Focus
Bridge investigates root causes of environmental crises within prevailing moral and political economic frameworks, emphasizing systemic reform pathways. His work prioritizes developing robust metrics for societal sustainability and well-being beyond conventional GDP-centric models, advocating for structural shifts toward regenerative economic systems.
