Lieutenant Commander Nicholas (Nick) Winiarski serves as a USCG Instructor in the Department of Management at the United States Coast Guard Academy. A graduate of the University of Phoenix (BS in Accounting, 2005) and Boston College (MBA and MS in Finance, 2019), he combines over 15 years of military service with academic expertise in financial management and leadership. Prior to his instructional role, he held key Coast Guard positions including Funds Manager for the C5I Service Center, overseeing $250M in network infrastructure funding.
His career includes roles as a Coxswain, Boarding Officer, Marine Inspector, and Chief of Facilities. He is certified as a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).
