Nicholas Marston is a Professor of Music Theory and Analysis at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Music. He serves as Director of Postgraduate Studies and Director of Studies in Music at King's College. His academic journey began at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where he was a Choral Exhibitioner, followed by a PhD on Beethoven's op. 109 sketches (published in 1995).
