Neil Saintilan

Neil Saintilan is Professor of Environmental Sciences at Macquarie University's School of Natural Sciences and leads research at the Marine Research Centre. His work examines climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems, especially wetland responses to sea-level rise.

Research Focus:
Investigates biogeomorphic feedback in coastal wetlands with emphasis on:

• Mangrove-saltmarsh ecotone shifts
• Sediment elevation dynamics
• Coastal habitat vulnerability modeling
