Dr. Neil Cross is an Associate Professor in Cancer Biology and Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Biomedicine and Health Science at Sheffield Hallam University. He holds a BSc in Biomedical Chemistry from the same institution and completed his PhD and postdoctoral research at the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on cancer biology, emphasizing 3D cell culture models for drug testing, mechanisms of apoptosis and ferroptosis, and gold nanoparticle-based therapies.
