Dr. Neha Kaul is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the Department of Neuroscience at Monash University and a Senior Dietitian at Alfred Hospital. She specializes in nutrition therapies for neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and traumatic brain injury. Her research focuses on diet-based treatments, particularly the ketogenic diet, and the integration of digital health solutions to improve patient care. She leads the Keto eCoach Trial, a randomized controlled trial evaluating a digital health intervention for epilepsy patients on ketogenic therapy. Dr. Kaul is also the recipient of the 2024 Jack M. Pellock Travel Award in Pediatric Excellence from the American Epilepsy Society.
She holds leadership roles including researcher co-lead of the Monash Epilepsy Consumer Advisory Panel (EpiCAP) and Ketogenic Diet Interest Group Convenor for Dietitians Australia. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
