Neal Lennox is a Senior Lecturer in Business and Finance at the University of Sunderland, affiliated with the School of Business, Management and Tourism. Since joining in 2013, he has held roles including Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Business and Financial Management and BA (Hons) Banking and Finance Top-Up. Currently, he serves as Centre Liaison Leader for partner universities in Vietnam and Myanmar, overseeing administration, recruitment, and teaching activities.
His teaching focuses on undergraduate modules such as MGT104 (Fundamentals of Financial Decision-Making), MGT206 (Finance and Financial Decision-Making for Managers), APC312 (Money, Banking and Finance), and UGB322 (International Banking). He is pursuing a PhD investigating how the banking and finance industry supports business operations, drawing from his prior experience as an assistant manager in a universal bank’s distressed debt unit.
Neal’s professional background includes sector-specific asset protection strategies and collaboration with internal/external partners to develop financial action plans. He is based at Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's and can be contacted via email for academic inquiries.
