Nazmi Kamal (BBA, MBA, M.Sc., PIDP) is an Instructor in the School of Tourism Management at Capilano University, part of the Faculty of Global and Community Studies. He joined CapU in 2017 and teaches courses including Tourism Sales, Convention Management, and Gastronomy Tourism. Before academia, Kamal spent over a decade in hospitality operations and event management, holding roles such as Restaurant Manager at Abu Dhabi’s Kempinski Emirates Palace. He holds degrees from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (Switzerland) and a Master of Science in Tourism and Travel Management from the University of Nottingham, UK.
