Dr. Nathan Hall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Brock University’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. He holds a PhD in Secondary Education with a focus on physical education from the University of Alberta. His research and teaching emphasize physical literacy, physical activity promotion, and pedagogical strategies in physical education programs. A key focus is integrating Alternative Environment Activities (AEAs) to enhance lifelong health and well-being. He also explores mental imagery use by educators and early childhood physical literacy development.
Dr. Hall’s professional roles include serving as Chief Editor for PHE Canada’s Revue phénEPS / PHEnex Journal and Past Chair of PHE Canada’s Research Council. His scholarly affiliations span organizations like the International Physical Literacy Association and the National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education (NAKHE).
