Nathan Edwards is a Professor and Director of Audio Production at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. As a UW Oshkosh alumnus, he previously served as Assistant Professor of Audio Technology at Dakota State University. His award-winning sound engineering work has been featured on major networks including MLB Network, WWE Network, and Oprah Winfrey Network, and exhibited at institutions like the South Dakota Art Museum and North Dakota Museum of Art.
His research focuses on audio production, music business, sound engineering, and music creation, emphasizing real-world application, creative freedom, and career guidance. Professor Edwards teaches with a philosophy centered on preparing students for sustainable music industry careers through practical experience and passion development.
He holds a Bachelor of Music in Recording Technology and Music Business from UW Oshkosh and a Master of Music in Electronic Music and New Media Technology from Northern Illinois University.
