Nate George is a historian specializing in Middle East Studies, currently affiliated with the Center for Palestine Studies (CPS) as a Research Fellow. He holds a PhD in History from Rice University and an MA in Middle East Studies from the American University of Beirut. His work focuses on decolonization, political representation, and transnational movements in the Eastern Mediterranean.

His first book project, A Third World War, reinterprets the Lebanese civil war through the lens of the Palestinian revolutionary movement, challenging dominant narratives of sectarianism. The research draws on multilingual archives and fieldwork to frame the Cold War as an international civil war driven by periphery struggles.
